It’s that time again, Yes it’s Christmas eve and were at the prison again. Cari and I woke this morning at 3:00 and headed down to the old prison for what has become a christmas tradition. Every year we get up early and join officer Carey Steel’s family and others to help deliver Christmas baskets for the metro police department. This year we were able to deliver christmas for 15 families in need. We loaded and unloaded the big “Life” truck and the ice cream truck from around 5 am till 12 pm. The joy that comes from giving of ones time and talents in service to our Lord is truly one of the things that make me tick.
